Plastic Matters - “The plastic value chain meets”
Met dit 2de Plastic Matters event willen Denuo en essenscia PolyMatters plastics uit de bouwsector meer circulair maken. De bouwsector is in België namelijk een belangrijke sector, waar veel (Belgische) kunststoffen worden ingezet.
We bekijken welke mogelijkheden er zijn om meer end-of-life bouwmaterialen, kunststof snijresten en verpakkingsmateriaal in te zamelen en te recycleren, hoe retoursystemen voor bouwmaterialen zouden kunnen opgezet worden en hoe het gebruik van gerecycleerde materialen in de bouwsector zou kunnen gestimuleerd worden. Middels een brainstormsessie willen we ook jullie input verzamelen en nieuwe ideeën genereren.
Doe met ons mee aan deze gratis netwerkgelegenheid. De voertaal tijdens dit evenement is Engels, het programma hieronder dus bijgevolg ook.

How to organize in practice the collection of used plastics in the building and construction sector? Through regional hubs? By whom? Is there an added value in a digital notification platform?
For which materials could a return system be set up? As an EPR scheme or not? Do separate material streams require separate return systems or could several materials be grouped in a collective take-back system? If so, which one?
Are you in favor of a voluntary retour scheme? In a first phase or permanent? What are the pro’s and con’s compared to a compulsory system?
By whom and with whom could such collection systems be set up? Who needs to be involved?
