Webinar: Opportuniteiten in de Servische milieusector

Servië is sinds 2012 EU-kandidaat-lidstaat. Het hoofdstuk rondom het verbeteren van het leefmilieu en de aanpak van de klimaatverandering is een van de meest uitgebreide en moeilijke kwesties in het onderhandelingsproces. Het omvat o.m. lucht- en waterkwaliteit, afvalbeheer, natuurbescherming, controle op en remediëring van industriële vervuiling, geluidshinder en klimaatverandering.

Servië heeft dan ook grote behoefte aan knowhow en oplossingen om alle milieu-issues aan te pakken. Daarom organiseren Flanders Investment & Trade, hub.brussels en AWEX dit webinar om Servische opportuniteiten voor de Vlaamse afval- en recyclagesector te identificeren.

• 10.05 – 10.15 uur: Welcome words by the Serbian Ministry of Environmental Protection and the Belgian Ambassador to Serbia & Montenegro 
• 10.15 – 10.40 uur: Presentation by the Ministry of Environmental Protection on opportunities, projects and needs in Serbia in the sectors of wastewater treatment, waste treatment, air quality improvement and decarbonization (Mrs Sandra Dokić, Assistant Minister)
• 10.40 – 11.00 uur: Presentation by the Standing Conference of Cities & Municipalities on opportunities, needs and capacities at the local level for green infrastructure investments (Mr Miodrag Gluščević, Program Director for Urban Development, Environment and Communal Services)
• 11.00 – 11.10 uur: Testimony of Belgian company active in the Environmental Sector in Serbia (Mr Saša Veljković, Country Director Aliaxis Serbia)
